While the whole sad angle is super sad I think sometimes people forget this is Adventure Time. A lot of messed up stuff happens but no one important ever /dies tragically. Hell, if they wanted they could make Finn/Fionna immortal without vampirism with an amulet or something. And even if not they'd just become ghosts or inhabit the realm of death. Or be reborn again. Either way, lovely picture, just sort of OOC for the show.
